Saila runs Lens Official, a successful e-commerce business selling coloured cosmetic and prescription contact lenses. Her existing website required an overhaul, with a ‘mobile first’ design, rebranding, social media integration, enhanced search engine optimisation and effective security. Saila had a clear idea about how she wanted her new website to look and feel and wanted it to be easy to navigate from mobile devices.
Helios Web Design worked with Saila to improve the styling and effectiveness of her e-commerce business and extend her online reach. We have designed a fully responsive WordPress website for her business that prioritises the mobile layout. This was available for Saila to view on a testing server, so she could monitor the progress of the build and request design alterations.
Once the design was complete Helios Web Design helped Saila to select and set up a suitable hosting package, applied a TLS SSL security certificate and implemented effective SEO and user tracking analytics for the website, enabling Saila to monitor the effectiveness of the website and the ROI of online marketing campaigns. The website also included a simple to use visual WYSIWYG page editor and a blog. Online tuition and assistance on how to utilise the website is included in the package.
Helios Web Design will work with Saila over the coming year to analyse usage of the website, implement SEO improvements and assist in developing Social Media campaigns and analysis of their effectiveness. The total cost of this website is commercially sensitive and has been kept private. Social Media assistance and user analytics will be billed at an hourly rate. Ongoing technical support, in year 2 and subsequent years will be set at a rate of £135 pa* if required.
