Kevin has an existing website that advertises his reconditioned and restored vehicle parts, but it is performing badly in terms of SEO and is written in badly outdated code. He requested a new website that is fully responsive, search engine optimised, easy to edit and simple to update. Kevin also wants to find new customers through social media and online communities. Helios Web Design is working with Kevin to create a website based on the WordPress CMS platform that has a simple to use visual editor, a portfolio, blog, automated social network sharing functionality and effective SEO. After the website has been completed Helios will work with Kevin to help him promote his services through social media and identify new avenues of potential customer acquisition.
Kevin is involved directly the design process and is able to monitor the progress of his new website design on a testing domain to ensure it is exactly right before the website goes live. The website is equipped with an auto posting feature that will post Kevin’s blog posts, items for sale and portfolio to a number of social media platforms to improve his businesses online exposure and drive more users to the website. The WordPress platform will enable Kevin to easily update the content of the website whenever he wishes, and Helios Web Design will be happy to offer tuition on this or implement the changes if requested. The website will be optimised for search engines and indexed with Google, and Yahoo/Bing. Google Analytics will be included, enabling Kevin to monitor the effectiveness of the website and the ROI of online marketing campaigns.
Helios Web Design will help set up Kevin’s own hosting contract to ensure that he is always in control of his online presence. Helios will actively manage this site ensuring that the website, plugins and security measures are always up to date and provide technical support and updates to content as and when required. The total cost of this website is £395 for the first year, which includes support. Ongoing technical support, in year 2 and subsequent years will be set at a rate of ~£125 pa.
